At The Law Offices of Margaret P. Miller, our mission is simple: to help clients navigate real estate transactions with reliable legal guidance. Meet Margaret P. Miller, Esq.
After practicing transactional and residential real estate law for many years, I know I have found my calling. I became an attorney because I love solving puzzles and helping people.

Since earning my JD from Seton Hall University School of Law, I have become a member of the New Jersey Bar, the New Jersey District Court, and, in 2005, was one of nine attorneys to be sworn in as Justice Roberts’ first official act for admission to the United States Supreme Court.
Deep Roots in the Montville Community
I have lived and practiced law in
Morris County, New Jersey, for many years and remain deeply involved in the local community. My commitment to public service includes:
Served on the Montville Township Board of Adjustments from 2012-2025
Becoming Chairperson of the Board in 2024
Serving as a Director of the Montville Chamber of Commerce since 2003
Acting as President of the Chamber from 2009–2011
Participating in the Montville Township Economic Development Committee
My training as a New Jersey Professional Mediator helps me serve as a volunteer on both the Community Dispute Resolution Committee and the Juvenile Conference Committee.

Since opening my office, I have concentrated on helping clients simplify their lives. To the layperson, the legal system and buying or selling a home can seem like a maze, frightening and difficult to navigate. Being an attorney enables me to reassure my clients and help them get what they want and deserve without the stress.
With my knowledgeable, supportive staff, I work closely with clients to understand the details of their needs and set them up for success.

Meet Bill McGeehin, Esq.
I joined Margaret's firm because I wanted to do work that matters to the people around me. Prior to joining the firm, I supported business operations at a technology talent firm, advised on financial transactions at a large New York City law firm, served as a logistics officer in a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's infantry battalion, and worked at a Big 4 accounting firm. That range of experience informs how I approach real estate and transactional matters for my clients.
I hold a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, and am a member of the New Jersey Bar.
As a Morris County resident and father of four, I understand the importance of real estate decisions for families and individuals. That’s why I focus on helping clients navigate property transactions in a way that is organized, efficient, and carefully managed from start to finish.
